Hello everyone my name is sour power.a boston native but now live in beautiful california.i have been a member to roll it up since 2008.i lurked but never posted.if anyone here does know me it would mainly be from mrnice forum or thc farmer.granted i stepped away from online scene about 5years ago and just focused on growing and being the best father/husband i could be to my family.nothing hasnt changed in those regards but now i have a little more time to post and hang out here.my first thread here will be an attempt to learn all i can about led.as soon as i feel im ready to diy led i will build one here with full pics and do a full grow with the light here.i have no diy skills but i am a driven person and over the years i have found some people can do anything if they apply themselves.i believe im one of those people so we will see.i will start off with some questions in my next post.thanks for reading and taking this journey with me it should be interesting.

Check out the LED section and read up what others are successfully doing. There are threads on COB and Quantium Boards with plenty informed people that will steer you in the right direction.

Thank you for the reply.thats actually what im doing right now though i have been reading up on the cobs for a few weeks.after all that reading im convinced of the 1.5-2gpw that people say.just not sure on how to diy, but it seems i will be the diy king in a min
Good advice im doing that now but its 1000s of pages to read through.no doubt im putting in my hours of reading and learning so that my questions will be tailored to specifics and not just over the place and fragmented.im leaning towards more efficiency because my gut tells me thats where the yeild is.my hps experiences is swaying me to go for the stronger driver and cob and add more cobs for more intensity.on the other hand doing as many sog grows as i have i understand light spread and how benficial it can be.so im thinking 1050 as far as driver unless 700 is gonna be the better yeilder.
