i had my cab set up a while ago, and was just waiting on seeds from nirvana, its been over a month and a half, so i've given up hope and my friends giving me a few unknown seeds she had.
in the time i was waiting, i figured i would practice, i found a chili seed and planted it, and it's growing pretty well, it just started to flower. i don't know whether all non-marijuana plants flower depending on photoperiod or age but yea, i started 12/12 and it happened.
i'll throw in a couple of pics. i turned the cfl's off because this shitty camera can't handle it.
door on. pretty stealthy apart from the evident lack of lightproofing.
okay, here is my question. i had it on 24/0 and it was all running fine, i switched the timer to 12/12 and it simply doesn't work, it doesn't switch off when intended, it just stays on. the timer was brand new, and i am sure i am using it correctly. it can handle much more wattage than i am putting through it. what's wrong?
in the picture, the white extension cable is the one connected to the timer. it holds the hps cable, the intake, and the two cfl's cables.
the timer.. just a standard analogue one.
