Since I live in Mich I will not grow until I get my Med card. But I would like to run through the system before then to make sure everything works. So my question is, What plant can I grow, that closely resembles or mimics the life-cycle of Marijuana. Something that has the same nutrient requirements, same vegging and blooming cycles... etc?
I have redesigned my grow room at least four times since I have been lurking on these forums, and watching videos, and reading. My current design is to build 3 x 6 place Aero-mister/DWC systems, and a Aero-bubbler for clones. My plan is to start them a month apart. So I can have two weeks for the clones and two weeks for vegging. This way I will have a new harvest every month, in a perpetual grow. At this point I will be using CFLs. With possibly a HPS in the future.
I am also curious about the 12/12 beginning to end grows, but I can't find any good info about them. If anyone has some good information on this technique, I would appreciate some links!
I also have some questions about auto-flowering strains. Since these plants will bloom in 18/6 cycles. Can they still be cloned? And do you clone them normally? This could effectively eliminate the vegging time. Go straight from two week clones to growing ! If anyone has some good information on these strains, I would appreciate some links!
