I should clarify - many of the best "ex illegal" growers couldnt work with LP's because they were "known to police". Many have brought on horticulturists as "master growers" who have no idea how to grow a crop like cannabis indoors. No other plant is produced in such a fashion, a degree in horticulture wont transfer very well to Cannabis and certainly wont help much for the first few crops where you have to figure out the specifics of each on of your phenotypes and the quirks of your setup.
Im saying its a nuanced problem that each LP faces, the regulations make it very difficult to prouce product that a patient would be used to under the MMAR or from a dispensary. Growing a plant out to its full 10 weeks leads to serious issues with mold and bacteria. Now to qualify that statement - im not saying it would be harfull - im just saying that the standards that the LP's have to adhere to were designed for herbal products with a moisture content of less than 1% that was never intended to be smoked.
