Hi guys,

i noticed something nibbling on my plants a week ago, which is shown in the first three pics, and it progressed horribly, as shown in the fourth. Have no idea what it could be or what to do. As you can see I dropped some moth balls around the area as a temporary fix.

Please, any help would be appreciated as this is my first grow and I really don't want to lose it like this.

Also, here's some info on my grow and the signs of attack:

It's a guerilla grow in the ny tri state area in a fairly moist spot. I am growing aurora indica and kaya gold, which they don't seem to like as much as the aurora indica. The mothballs don't seem to be doing much. The shortest plants are being hit the hardest, and even my tallest plant (2 feet) shows signs of nibbling.

Please help!

do some homework ... go look at the top stickies the top posts on the bugs sections of the forum where you posted this there are pics you will find that look similar to yours.. i dont know exactly what it is so i wont say but im sure youll figure it out.

At first I thought it was a rabbit or something, so I saved up a gallon of urine or so to dump around the area, and dropped a number of human hairs to deter them also, but then I changed my mind. See how there are holes in the middle of the leaves like punch outs? I don't see how an animal could damage the inside of the leaf without biting the outside. I'm guessing bugs, but I am going to put up some type of Barrier in case I'm wrong. Thanks for the reply!

Finally, someone else who saves buckets of their urine.

This happened to a a friend of mine who had his plants set out in the grass to hide them. I'm pretty sure it's bugs. I think a rabbit or cat would have done more damage. brimck325 sounds like he has a good recipe, might as well give it a shot.

Anybody thinking slugs? Or caterpillars?

ill try the garlic thing, Should I also try any insecticide? Any brands recommended?

Last year, I wrapped the bottom of my stalks with some copper wire. I read it on here somewhere, and thought I would give it a try. One morning, I came out for an early wake and bake, and saw a slug crawling up the pot. I Let him go and watched him for a while. After he climbed up and in, he made his way over to the stalk to climb up. As soon as he touched the copper wire, he turned around, and tried to go at it from a different angle. He must have crawled around the stalk 3 or 4 times trying to find a spot he could go up. Needless to say, he didn't get up there, so I flicked him off. Copper works!

I'm currently in the process of trying to find some copper wire or tape, the two local hardware stores I tried didn't have any. Maybe home depot?

buy some chewing tobacco take about 1/4 of the pouch and put it in 1/2 gal of water warm it up and let it sit
and spray the plants what evers eating it will stop or die

Thanks for all the advice guys, tied a ton of copper wire around the plants this afternoon, and doused them all in jacks dead bug brew. Hoping that does the trick for now. Will update w pics
