Some questions about yields

Hey I had a question I figure some of the experienced guys can answer...

When I go hydro, I was planning on doing an aero setup similar to the one filthyfletch did a tutorial on. Well im only using a 400watt HPS to flower, so if I did a 4 site aero setup would I yield the same as a 6 site aero setup? By that I mean does it matter how many plants I use? I hear watts=buds, so if I did 4 site setup,5 site setup,6 site setup, they would all come out about the same weight wise??? I've heard from others I can get like 1oz per plant? SO I would think the number of plants do matter??

Also can I get like an oz per plant with a 400 watter? Thanks for any input! So looking forward to trying hydro out.

i have grown hydro and I love the speed and yield but the smokes are so harsh i will never do it again. even with a good 10 days flush at the end. i had to water cure my buds just so i could smoke them. 5 one foot plants equals 1 5 foot plant. it depends on how big you veg them. i personally like a lot of small plants so the turnaround is quick and they are much easier to address and manage when needed. After a month of growing they can get out of hand and I hate dealing with large bulky plants. trim and prune and train them to stay low and i recommend 6 medium size vs. 4 large plants.. it will even save you money in the end with electricity and hydro nutes

started from seed and put in 12/12 14 days ago. Gone from 14' to 26" and covered with young flowers. I'm told a sativa will double, sometimes, triple in size during flowering. Never thought mine ws gonna get this big. Question is if you're starting with clones, how tall before you flower ? 10" doesn't sound big enough but I guess it is ????? Yeh and I have also heard the "harsh" thing too many times. I'm stickin' with good ole sunhine mix.

its not that bad..come on now! if you flush periodically through your grow and your not using full strength nutes your good. and a 10 day flush is butter baby!
