Some questions about dwc.

Well for one can anyone point me in the direction of a GOOD simple dwc guide.

im completely noob to hydro , and completely sick of soil.

Dwc seems to be t he easiest method , I was wondering what exactly i would need for a simple 4xsite - 3 gallon or 5 gallon buckets dwc system?

4x Buckets
4x Net pot lids
4x airstones
1x? pump?
1/4'' hose

any special hose connectors like a splitter of some sort to make the one pump work for all 4buckets??
how big a pump?
do i need a seperate resevoir? would that require another pump?
how would i give nutes? just pour some nute solution in each bucket?

ya im preaty lost :( any help appreciated. just gettin into this im gonna go do some readins now.. thank you

3 gallon per plant is fine, u need a reservoir i'd say that can hold at least 10 gallons where u put the nutrients, airpump and air stone, u need net pots, grow medium, a pump, 1/4 hose with some kind of drippers that you stick in the 1/4 hose so the go to the other pots and you need the water to somehow drain back into the reservoir

you said do i need if a separate reservor, im just saying you would need to drain the water back if you did that

yes , but i just want each plant contained with its own water (4x 3 gallon buckets) would that be fine too?

So it would go Pump - > a 4x Splitter -> 4x1/4'' hoses -> 4x buckets w/ airstones

would this work? and hwo would i connect the hose into the bottom of the bucket? drill hole and use some type of connector?

I dont know if ur interested in it but I do 5 gallon buckets with an air stone in each one that run off a manifold that is connected to my air pump. All you need is a basket, not too small, I believe mine is 6 inch that fits the 5 gallon bucket. drill a hole in the top that fits ur air line and put it throw and connect ur air stone. fill it to about 8.25" inches of water in veg, (depending on the plant I do 9" for flower cuz the love to drink), which is roughly 3 gallons cuz you want air to get to your roots. The air stone will bubble and wet ur grow medium, I use clay pellets.

This in turn drives the roots to the water in the bucket. I have a high success rate. Try not to split more then one line if needed cuz the air pressure needed per bucket is great. The more bubbles the better my friend. I have to ph balance every bucket which sucks wang but if you dont have resources and or time to make a reservoir, this is the system for you my man. :)

Seems easy enough :D , I can always implement a reservoir at a later time.

DWC is so easy, all you need is a bucket, net pots, air pump, air stones, air tubing, medium, and that's it.

This is me from another site building my DWC buckets, (I have yet to start a journal here):

Will use a Dremel to cut the hols in the bucket lids for the net pots

Make sure to rinse the clay pellets really good. Rinse again and again until clear water is coming off of them, then rinse some more.

Make sure you have enough bubbles so the roots wont drown

thank you gary , easy enough for me :) , lol @ widely recognized walmart pumps <3 baught the same shit last night i made a little diy cloner out of a sterilite shoe box and some foam floor mats for my neoprine plugs lol (all from walmart), i opted for the 4'' airstone (mistake to small) gonna get the 6'' and i only baught a lil 5-15 gallon pump (single outlet version of the one u have up there now) hoping thats big enough for the tiny ass container ima have it in...sadly its not even strong enough to power 2x 4'' airstones though so we shall seeee how it acts with a 6''
