So...here is a decent overview of some of my previous work...

First is a Haze variety...I dont know which but it looks like a GHS strain imo. Really psychedelic smoke with a unique aroma.

These are some pics of the single cola party cup trial I have completed...

Newer better pics to come... especially from this last batch...The XJ13 is truly an amazing plant...

Thanks man...I just found a way to get my GOOD pics up, considering I dont have a computer I have to be careful about how I put them up...

As far as an on-going thread...I guess I should, maybe I do have something to contribute.

What was your yield on that party cup tray? How many plants etc...?

If you posted this info somewhere else I apologize. I must have missed it. Sub'd btw as I am really curious about that party cup grow you did.

What I ended up doing for the party cup trial was fitting 36 cups in the tray and bottom feeding about a gallon of solution every other day. They were grown using canna coco & nutes (some other amendments like Cal-Mag+, superthrive, and molasses- fuck buying the boost). I cleaned them up (removed all lateral branching) on day 6 and day 14. I averaged about 5 grams finished per cup...which was lower than I wanted but was able to increase that on the next round (at least I expect, time will tell but it looks as if I am right about this.) by letting them veg a little longer (10 days instead of 7 or less for the last ones).

All in all, considering my space and light limitations, single-cola party cup growing is where its at for me. It increased the yeild I can get from my space, and simplifies manuvering (meaning I dont have to try and find the best plant vs. lighting arrangement anymore), harvesting, and feeding (dump a bucket in the tray...fresh nutes everyother day...:) I would help out anyone thinking of trying this method...just PM or get my attention somehow, I will be more than happy to help.

Explain your bottom feeding technique. I have about a dozen party cups I am hand watering atm lol.

I drilled plenty of holes in my cups and when I water I pull out like 3 cups, pour the solution in the bottom...let them suck it up for a couple days, repeat.

I tried the individual watering, tossed around the idea of automating a drip line... and decided that they either took too much time or money. Just pouring it in and letting them decide what they need was really the way to go. No issues of algae or mold, each plant takes what it needs...a thing of beauty.

i like them trays my next grow plants will be on metal screens and lookin for something like them trays of urs for run off as well changing my way of waterin fckin takein to long so thinkin of some kind of pump and 1/4 inch tubes to water all
kick on pump
and watch them water rather then watering one by one even if i come up with a gravity fed set up all i know is its goin to change next time :)

PS: i am also not goin to veg as long lol you ever try watering 180 plants 5 feet tall

was going to say why not try topping like half of your plants next time and see out come i got 5 colas heres a pic was starting 4th week flower when pic was taken might be a thought on your next grow

I might try that with the XJ13's....they seem to want to branch quite a bit as it is. But the Headband just kept bulking up, whereas the XJ13 just kinda fills out, nicely, but not nearly as thick and full as the Headband. Another thing too is that I really like the idea of keeping all the auxins going to a single cola, I think it works wonders.

I guess you could put a couple trays under a 400..just need a shit ton of clones...

Yup...I run seperate veg and clone areas. Moms are under a 400 MH and clones are under a shitty 4' shop light from home depot with a heatpad.

And I would say that I have probably done at least a 1000 clones in my day... easy breezy.
