I have 2 plants under a 24/0 schedule - 600 hps light (ballast at 60%)

I popped the both Gelato seeds in May 16th.

I had a few gnat issues but I solved with a bit of neem oil.

June 6th I transplanted them to the fabric 20 Gal pots. (Added pic)

june 8th I did the first topping for both as u can also see.

My temp goes as low as 70 and as high as 85. but when it reaches 85 i quickly work on bringing it down.

the humidity is usually at around rh 54%. (one time for a few hours it was at rh 28% even with the humidifier on and me spraying water, and having wet cloths around, it was horrible idk why that happened)

MY ISSUE IS THE YELLOWING OF LEAVES!!!!!!! Usually at the bottom, but theyre reaching upwards!

I ONLY USE WATER AT 6.5ph NOTHING ELSE.

water it like every other 2 days. but i daily mist them with water.

*****The light is about 35 inches away from the top of the plant.

Can't see the pics, but my humidity is usually anywhere from around 15-35 Rh in my rooms and I don't have a problem. It's dry in CO, and now that I added an exhaust fan blowing air out of the house I don't even need to run my dehumidifier anymore. They will need to be watered more often though.

Maybe overwatering? How dry do u let the soil get?

It may be over watering. I only water my plants that often when they've outgrown their container, or maybe during mid flower.

I guess it depends on how much you are watering.

Well, in my current grow, I wait until the pot feels light. But I'm using Megacrop and not a living soil.

I am actually cooking a LOS now, and I know when I start using it, that keeping the soil moist will be important. So, with that in mind, I unfortunately don't think I'm in a great position to give advice in this case, though I'm glad to try to help!

the soil i a subcool receipe and I only use water no nutes.
So, I have noticed that when I first started with organics, I didnt let the soil cook enough, and i had those issues. The root cause was PH issues. I have found if you use fresh worm castings, you have 85 percent less problems because your PH stays right on the money.

I think your temps and RH are in line, excepting the 28 % incident you had. Also your pots only seem to be wet around the plants, indicating that it may not be over watered.

A soil test would be ideal given that you've put this soil together. Otherwise, perhaps someone with more experience can chime in.

My advice is to do nothing at this point, except watch your watering. Trying to fix things by doing extra usually makes the problem worse. If the problem isnt getting worse, dont worry too much yet. It doesn't look too bad to me, and they are still young.

Thanks for all the input!! :peace:

- guy at a hydro store that it can possible be because the subcool cooked soil is to hot for young plants and it cant cause burns. (his assumption without me showing him a piture of it so idk ).

I'll keep this thread updated with what goes on. as for now I'm watching for any sign of this getting worse. :bigjoint:

How do I test the soil?

Brah, listen. Coming from years of experience at this point; it isnt bad, leave it alone. Your doing just fine. All my lower leaves show some sort of damage over the course of a grow. The main thing that plant is suffering from is too much attention and love from you. You been looking at 420 Mag too much with these picture perfect plants.
