Solar Power

You want to use a load of very expensive and highly inefficient photovoltaic cells to collect a massive amount of light and turn it into a tiny amount of electricity so you can power a light??

Obvious solution - place plant under primary light source.
 
Absolutely..is this something your already working with? I would concur with spanishfly if you don't already have panels. It would not be cost effective otherwise.
