Solar panels to save $$$. Big problem.

Heres the problem. The growroom is located in a house that a friend of mine owns (second floor) I saw the great saving I had at home and decided what the heck, why not use them at the grow house. So I picked up over $6,000 of panels ranging from 20 watts to 224 watts. I get them very cheap, because my friends dads company makes them for a new federal Company that produces Green energy. First bill came in last month, it was for Negitive -$217.66. We added more lights since then. My second bill came in on friday of last week. $87.63. We are running 6800 watts in the flower room and 2000 between vegging and the moms rooms. not including all the other shit and home utilities. Sounds fucking great doesn't it....

So great the fucking electric company (who's info isn't private) told the local newpaper and they want to interview the "home owner" about his investment and how he doing things for the enviroment. We had the fucking address mentioned on two televison shows since then and the news won't let up.

What the fuck should we do?? People think we are so great. The media wants to see the inner workings or our "green house"

I have all the batteries and inverters in on the first floor of the house. But no Carbon filter is good enough to block the smell of the second floor..

Just thought I might let you all in on my current issue..

Tell them politely you wish to remain out of the media 3. never return their phone calls. 4: move your grow in the middle of the night, lysol the hell out of the place, do the interview to get them out of you hair.

I mean really, how could I justify a home that uses an average of 8000 kilowatts an hour? I just don't know.. I could say that I bake alot of cookies in my Electric oven, or maybe I heat my swimming pool all winter long..

Plus the Electrical panel was done by a real skeezy guy who might or might not be a master electrician. I don't know if it's to code. But I needed a few more 30 amp breakers put in...

You don't need an 'excuse' simply state the 'green thing' either way, green earth or green money.

The $50 thing is still in the works my marketing guy has been hammered with paying gigs so he's kind of slacked which really pisses me off, but he should be done with these contracts soon and we can get back to work. We're hoping to have something solid in 6 months and in action before mid-term elections.
