use normal compost 3/4 and 1/4 perlite.
also john immes is good no 2 and 3 see if your garden center sells it.
but as long as you add good drainage to your soil"perlite" it should be ok.with any normal potting soil.
also try to have 2" of pebbles in the bottom of your pots for better drainage.
what seeds you got?. or getting?.

well either buy some proper soil from a hydro store.
but i just use the garden centers own brand and add perlite, when i started.
