I have only used hydro systems & gonna try soil for comparison. I am planning to use straight FFOF as the soil with Purple OG #18. Is it true that I could solely use water with that for the first month of veg. & also could I use the Lucas Formula for feeding & should I get some new nutes. Already have a bunch of nutes from previous grows.

Okay cool. I'm using AN but I compared the GH flora series soil & hydro feedings & the soil uses 1/4 to 1/2 less, depending upon which week you are on
I'd rather not wait & get the info from someone who has done it lol. I'll prolly start at 1/4 strength at week 2 & go up a 1/4 each week.

That's a good starting place, maybe start at week 3 though. Ocean Forest has a lot of goodness in it.
I have always used hydro nutes with soil, love the results. The lucas formula will work fine.
Yea that's a better idea actually. & I'm gonna do the regular 3 part formula. I did the Lucas formula cause I didn't wanna dump a bunch of buckets & a resevior every week
