soil PPM?

heyy wats goin on... i was wondering if you really need a PPM meter for soil? also if you need a PH pen for soil, or just the soil tester??

you can get by w/o a ppm meter, but ph is pretty much a must have item.

Yeah for sure you need a PH tester (digi if possible) I bought one for like $20 off ebay. The grow i'm on (my first) I haven't used a PPM meter. Just start off using a lesser dosage then whats recommended on the nutrient bottle (like 1/2 strength) and gradually work your way up.

oh yea ik you need the PH pen, or liquid tester(what i got) but do you want one of the PH testers that you stick into the soil?

i tested the ph of my well water when we moved in here.... its fine... i have no ph, ppm, ec, etc meters of any sort; dont really think that is necessary

i check my ph after i mix my nuts and check the drainage ph to make sure every thing is AOK

i wish i was out in the country so i could have a well. im just gonna go out and buy a soil ph tester. it cant hurt.
