soil or hempy bucket?

growing in a small closet maybe 3-4 plants. Which is better for my conditions? cfl grow, going to lst and scrog, little space... should i use hempy's method or just plain soil? and which yields better? thanks in advance

I personally think hempy is better, it should yield more than soil

but can i still lst my plant using metal hooks? isnt the perlite/vermiculite media to much of a sandy substance to be able to stabilize the hooks?

what if i used soil but just made a perlite/vermiculite reservoir on the bottom 2 inches and cut out the draining holes like a reg. hempy bucket?

Most people just attach to the pot when LSTing. If you want soil on top and hempy at bottom then you will be very interested in this.

It basically has the bottom of a hempy, most use clay pebbles or lava rock, then there is a 75 coco 25 compost/vermiculite/perlite amended with biotone(fungi and bacteria) lime, and some blood meal or other organic fert. You put an ait stone in the bottom and within a week you will have a very active and fertile medium. No ph worries, water 1-2 a week, plants get everything they need.

o yea just use straight perlite for the res dont mix that part with vermiculite
