Is it possible to take a hydroponically grown plant, cut a clone, and grow it in soil?? what would happen?? what characteristics would the plant have?? any thoughts, opinions, or experience in this?? all help is greatly appreciated. stay smokey my friends :leaf:
 
I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but I would say absolutely. There is a little more shock involved in the transplanting between mediums, but I grow in soil, and recently switch to Aero/hydro cloning. The cloning is faster and better, but you lose maybe 2 days to shock when going to soil. Overall it's been better for me.

IMO a cutting is a cutting, it roots in whatever you put it in, I wouldn't think the green parts would have a memory, the roots will take to whatever they first grow in.
 
i grow soil and clone dwc [hydroponicly] it doesnt matter to be honest they will grow in either. hydroponics tends to yeild a little bit more but the quality and taste is not as good as its natural habitat soil. id say if thats what you want to do you could easily do it. [btw for my clones i put them in dwc[bubbleponics] onces they root i twirl the rooots in soil then cover with soil and water its pretty easy and you can do it either way]
