SO, i have been growing my babies inside for about 3 weeks and im starting to see 2 pairs of pronged leaves. Im starting to think they are hardy enough to withstand the Idaho elements therefore I am going to plant them outside this weekend.
I was going to put them in 1 Gallon buckets for starters. My soil composition will be as follows:
-Top Soil (Approx 80%)
-Sand (Approx 5%)
-Pete Moss (Approx 10%)
-Very dark organic soil (3-5%)
-Perlite (2-5%)
-and lastly some grass clippings from my lawn for nutrients (maybe one handful)
So does this composition sound good? and are there any items you would cut out or add? I thought about taking some 10-10-10 fertilizer and sprinkling a few pellets in throughout the mix for when the roots expand and begin to take up more nutrients.
Let me know with any suggestions and as always all comments are welcome.
Thanks a bunch guys and gals and remember to keep on tokin!
