Soil Ak-47 Sog, are 2.5 gallon buckets gonna do it?

I plan on growing some ak-47, and I wanted to do a sog set up. A 3-5 day veg and then straight into flowering. I was thinking of using 2.5 gallon soil buckets but was wondering if by the end of flowering I would have to be water like 5 times a day. I don't want to have to be doing that much work because I have other things like work and school so should I upgrade to bigger buckets or is 2.5 gallons gonna do it? I only want to have to be watering once a day at most in later flowering. Please let me know what you think guys it would help.

K cool, I just don't want to be watering 10-40 plants 5 times day because they are root bound as fuck.
