Sog to Party Cup, or Not Party Cup?

well i been searching everywhere and cant find a decent answer, if i were to do those 16 oz party cup sog grows, i want perpetually and would be hoping for atleast 1/2 per plant, is this doable?

A 1/8-1/4 dry is much more realistic imo. you could always use bigger cups though. The thing that will limit the plants growth the most is the size of the root system, w/sog that is what you sort of want of course, but it sounds to me like you want to do a sog w/less larger plants rather than more smaller ones so that extra root space will help you reach that objective.

well im trying to do it with alot more little plants, i have a small grow space, like 3x2x4 so yea height ristricted and such, i wonder if i got a bunch of those 32 ounce cups from like seven eleven if that would work? would give them much more root space, and only use just a little bit more space

those will work fine, in fact thats pretty much(i get mine from where i work so technically its not the exact same ones, lol) what i do use when doing smaller plants, or 2 liter bottles w/the tops cut off and holes put into the bottom. what kind of lighting are you planning on and how much of the space does it fill up? if you get a cool tubed 400w hps w/a remote ballast so it can be stored outside the grow you should be able to reach your goal once you get everything dialed in. how many plants are you thinking of doing each run? really you still have the same amount of area which you want to be completely filled no matter how many plants it takes to fill up that space so if you do want to do lots of smaller plants in the small 16 oz like you were saying it would be fine, but you'll have to settle for less off of each plant.

You could get 1/2 a zip with 16oz party cups but you'll need to give them some veg time and run with a soiless medium and good fertilizers.
I find it easier to work with 2 liter water bottles with the top cut off. There's also square 1L pots that are pretty high so you could cramp a lot into a tight space.

well atm the im using a 400 watt mh/hps atm so i think if i were to use the 32 oz ones it would workj much better, cuz i can fit 8 across and 6 down, so that would be perfect for my perpetual i want which woul dbe pulling out 6 plants a week which would work pretty good dont ya think?

Indeed, sounds just about perfect to me. One question though, does your hps bulb have an added blue spectrum to it? if not i'd get one(in fact i'd replace the veg area bulb with a blue spectrum added hps if possible, but if youve got a mh ballast for the veg area then your kinda out of luck on that because the ceramic metal halide dual spectrum bulbs can only be used in a non-digital hps ballast and a blue spectrum added hps would not work either in a mh ballast.Btw, almost all hps ballasts can run mh bulbs just fine.( just in case you didnt know). Having a mixed spectrum is extremely important imo because cannabis has 2 types of chloroplasts. one interacts w/blue wavelengths for photosynthesis and one interacts w/red wavelengths. Using only one side of the spectrum wastes alot of your plants ability to make as much energy as possible.
