I have just cut my clones and put them in 2 inch grodans. How long do I veg before I could flower. I have eight or nine babies, hopefully they will all root. Is one 400 watt HPS enough for these? I have them in an open room so heat isnt a problem.

Hello someone help!! Also can I clone a main stem? Well pretty sure I could clone the top of the plant, but can I continue down the main stem and clone the next node down? Seems when I cut one of the girls its hollow kind of like a straw. Will this clone?

it takes about two weeks for the clones to root, then you want to veg them until they are about 6 in. tall. If your going to top them, do it right before you transfer them to start the veg process, wich is about another week.

cool thanks man. So can I clone the main stem? I know I could do the top of the plant, but can I cut the second node and clone that. The stem seems hollow will it root?

I veg my plants between 12 and 18 inches.

a 400watt will be fine for those if you start 12/12 lighting as soon as the clones have roots. that is assuming the mother plant was mature as well. otherwise the clones need to mature before flowering or you will cut your yeild and that defeats the purpose of sog. i dont think you can clone the main stalk without the top on it. not just a piece of internode anyways.

well I did the stalk with just the internode on the top they seem to be fine

lemme know if those root and continue to grow like normal plants. I may be wrong though. Ive never heard of it being done myself like i said. I guess it would be possible though.....
