SoG Method For Under $50.

I bord and want to prove you can grow the sog method cheep and easy.


Supplies

-1 Rubber made tube 3 3 2 $3.50

-2 cfl 48watt $8.00 each

-2 lamps $4.00

-1 4" intake fan $4.00

-1 curtain $6.00

-2 packs of the seedling dirt starts .99 each



So i'm going to have 24 seedling starting and have them veg for 2 to 3 weeks then switch to flowing. I will get some pics up soon, on how i built the reg and the plants.

also all thing where bought at a local Wal-Mart

I couldn't find intake fans at wal-mart. I looked everywhere. I ended up having to go 2 the depot to get one.

It was a regular fan i just cut a hole in the box.

I just add two more CFLs there 2 20watt natural light cfls

I think i'm going to start with 24 plants all seeds I've been holding on to for over a year.

This is going to be my little grow box.

I toke out my brothers plants today and three out of the 24 started spouting.

I'm going to start another expirement with some skunk and grow it with a 50 watt wall hps and see what will work better cfl's or hps.

14 out of the 24 poped for the cfl grow I can't wait to see how they do. And I just finshed another grow box for my HPS lights and i'm going to start ger some skunk seeds for it.

I moved the oldest into my hps and started new seeds for this cfl grow this are only about a week old.

ok now most of them have there 2nd set of elf leaves, next week if they have there 4th set of elf leaves I'm going to switch 1/2 of the hpbb plants in to flowering. they are only two weeks old now from breaking the surface so at least one more week veg. the other 1/2 of the hpbb i'm going to keep vegging so i can pull clones from it next grow.

I think I'm going to quit using cfls and moving all cfl grown plants under an HPS and I'm hoping to pick up a 400 watter soon, you can cleary see this small 50watt hps out grows this 124 watts of cfls.

The only reason i'm going to put all of these under a hps is the bigger buds, you still will get buds under a cfl but watt for watt it's just not worth it, It's like a 400watter hps vs 1000watter the 1000watter will grow a bud four/five times bigger with proper cooling system.

I got my new ballast from ups so i set up the new lighting system and switched my plants to 12/12 yesterday and gave them a whole day of darkness b4 the lights come back on.

time to repot the small ones, i have some great free square pots they are small one quart but they are a step in the right direction. you know how to get a hold. i have some beans i would like you to sprout also. call me at your leisure
