The only CFL's i could find were soft white, how does this differ from cool/warm? is it still acceptable for growing?

I can get more light shinning of my knob on a warm summers night than what appears to be coming off those lights. Get some big ass fluros happening!

not quite the reply i was looking for.. if your looking at my pics on your judgment itsb ecause i turn some of them off so my plants dont look like white glowing mystical creatures...
i have 1 4 ft floro o nthe side turned off for pics
rest is cfl based on the recommndation by more senior members here

anyone have the answer to my question??

Cheer up matey, they'll come good!

I'll find this list of the lumens output some guy did of all the different size an dtypes of fluros, higher the lumens, the closer to being the sun it is.

Back soon!

well i know they put out 1600 lumens a peice.. the ones i have, 100 watt cfl soft white

The ones I have used put out about 3500 lumens and from reading here some of the more experience boys say anything under about 5000 isn't too impressive.

Maybe some daylight for week might show if its a light prob or not?

i will get more light.. as of now i have 4ft floro at 1600 and 2 cfl's at 1600 so i am pretty close. 4800 lumens

thats pretty good for just a few plants. you will be fine for up to 24" or vegetative growth. just remember to keep them 2" away from the tops
