you heard right.ive heard you can use this light for flowering?
cool whites no good at all, floods are good if they're warm white all your light gets focused onto the plant. Daylight is best by far but you need some warm white for flowering so for an all purpose, warm white is what you want.i cant find any daylight cfls at my local store i can only find flood cfls and soft white and cool white i hear flood sucks i just wanna know if cool white or soft white is better? (sorry to hijack the tread)
probably not, my guess is they're 3500 K, best to get the real deal, know exactly what your buying.i just found out the 40watt cfls i was looking at r ultra bright not cool white or soft white or any of that would these work?
yeah, they're all good. Cool whites the bad one 4100 K, nothing will grow with them. Look at the chart, 6000 K is great.the ultra bright lights i found are called ultra bright soft white light there 40w cfl and 2600k but i just found a 45w cfl and it says its 3000k could i use 2 of the 3000k or 45w cfls would that work for one plant its gonna be like 4 inches off the plant i just donno because it says to use 6500k for vegging but is 6000k ok?
