Well.. Im pretty damn new here.. lurked around for a bit and absorbed some info on this stuff before i created an account and actually started posting. So, hello to everyone here at RIU! Great bunch of people, that are very knowledgeable and have a good sense of humor from what ive seen; needless to say i think ill enjoy it here very much.

I don't post too often. i lurk A LOT, but ill try to change that best i can.

Anyways.. I've gathered materials to build a growbox over the last few weeks. Just finished putting the very basics of the growbox together. Got the DIY Carbon Filter attached, have the intake attached. its tested. works good! All i have left to do is finish cutting the remaining hole for the light cables to exit, then install the reflective material and trim it up nicely. After that i will be installing the lights and then its on the road to happiness!

If anyone is wondering im running 6x 26w 6500K CFLs (only planning on 1 plant for now) for a total of 156 Watts, and like 7800 or so Lumens (dont remember). Ive read up a fair bit on the LST technique and plan on doing that.

My exhaust is a 120mm CPU fan (88 CFM) wired to a old R/C battery charger that pushes air thru a home made pencil cup carbon filter. yes i made sure the power matched up, and it did right on.

I wish i could get some pics up, but i dont own a digital camera.Ill have to ask my girl friend to take some pics with hers some time.

I do have one question tho.. How do i get into the R.C.C ???

Id get some better lighting if you ever plan on doing more than one plant at a time.

As far as the R.C.C, go to your control panel (my rollitup) and select social groups from the options on the left of the screen, then you'l see a list of groups, find the R.C.C group and join, it may be an invite only group so you may have to kiss the group starters ass before you can join Im not a member of it myself as im a h.i.d lighting grower.
