So what's the point?

If you can influence the desired high by harvesting your crop at different stages of development, harvesting early to achieve a more energetic high, what is the point in the decision between indicas and sativas? Is it the growing characteristics? Is that what makes people need to decide? Indicas grow short, so they are more desirable indoors? Is that what all of this is about? I'm blowed. :)

maybe all that clear, cloudy, amber crap isn't such a factor. i've been trying to tell everyone. they all pull early using the excuse "i want an uppity high". i call BS.

i let mine go until they are done.

But it seems gospel here about the color of the trichomes. What do you think then? If you wanna get high and paint, smoke sativa?

The difference is in the exact high the trichs can influence the particualr strain within its capabilities. An indica will always give a body high and a sativa will give a head high.It depends what you want and how much of it you want.Indicas like you said have specific indoor advatges for inside grows then sativas do.There are so many cross bred strains now alot have a mixed high.

I grew a hermie, so alot of the hairs turned brown early from being pollenated. It;s tough to guage.

pick all the balls off if its a small plant and it wont get polinated if you are thourough and consistant

I can't really notice a huge difference when I harvested my shit a little early. Except for the feeling of "dumb" for cheating myself out of some weight. I usually pull em around 75% red/brown. I do that mostly for looks though.
