Patience is key ....go by what your plant tells you, not by any set time .....usually you can get a ball park of flowering times for strains ....but it's always best to watch your trichs and pistils to know when to chop ....GL

What size pot did you veg her in? And what nutes? How often? What type of light and how much?

OH don't worry, I did it all wrong
She's dying now. Bud production seems slow.
I started in the bottom half of a water bottle with holes cut in the bottom for drainage.
Originally, it was growing on a shelf with 1 1600 lumen 6700k cfl bulb. Then I split it so there were 2 bulbs.
After a week or two, when there were about 3-4 nodes, and roots were starting to grow back up the bottle, I put it in the 10L pot she's in now. And mixed in a small amount of 9-4-12 time release nutes into the already hot soil.
Then I made a cardboard "grow box" and added more bulbs. At one point there was 8 CFL bulbs at 1600 lumen. Some 6500k some 2700k.
Veg was slow growing, LST response was slow.
I accidentally broke apical dominance before I was ready and below where I intended. (dropped a flashlight on it during an inspection... Oops)
Other than growing slowly, and the occasional signs of mistake, it grew well. Until it Hermied. But I've picked off its balls. Hopefully in time
I dunno where seeds grow but I don't see any yet.
Sometimes I had leaves claw, tips burn, leaves twisted, but it all looked ok.
Now I'm 5 or 6 weeks into 12/12.
Lower leaves are yellowing, browning, and falling off. Stems are turning purple.
Top leaves are getting brown spots that increase in size until the entire leaf dies.
And bud growth is slow.
My GUESS is too much heat, too much nitrogen, not enough potassium, maybe not enough magnesium as well.
It was a good run... I need more supplies and ran out of money.
Anyway my pistils are starting to brown. Maybe around 5% browning...
My biggest buds are about the size if a thumb.
My guess is this plant has a quarter of bud on it.
Not sure if it'll get much bigger over the next few weeks....
But for a first plant ever I'm still happy.

You should be happy sounds a lot like my first grow. I gave her way too much nitro but she still gave me almost an ounce ounce she finished. I did give her about 12 weeks of flower all together bc I was using only cfls. We will get better with every run.OH don't worry, I did it all wrong

I'm guessing I'll have anywhere between 10 and 20 grams... Can hardly wait to find out for sure!
Couple more weeks or so... Pistils are about 20% browning now!
The plant has shed most of its fan leaves now. I'm thinking the yellowing I worried about was normal... The plant now looks a lot like people's pruned females.
Except for the browning upper leaves... Not sure if it's nitrogen or heat.

Can't afford a fan right now. My funds ran out so I'm just trying to limp to the finish line.
I did raise my lights a bit, and the browning seems to have slowed.
Mind you, there's not much left to burn lol
