i've got a backyard shed, 6x8, two workshop lights with 2 sunlight tubes (replicates 92% of the spectrum, 2500 lumens, 40W each, sitting about 4-6 inches above my plants.
i've got the walls covered with mylar, but boxes with foil just around these smaller cups until i expand the space.
i've got a timer running a space heater with rotating fan doing 25C/80F all day. humidity is NORMAL to HIGH on my temp gauge sitting at the top of the shed just inside the door to measure the hottest levels. i keep the shed open during the day with normal fan running to keep airflow, and closed at night. heater/fan keeps airflow, but i have to keep doors closed so neighbours don't see lights on at night.
DO I CUT A VENTILATION SECTION OUT OF SHED AT NIGHT FOR AIRFLOW?
plants:
20 blue mystics, seedlings about week old, all doing amazingly well, reaching for the sky.
3 bubblicious, about 12" high now, 6th set of leaves, new growth almost every day. the other 7 either broke off from too tall shafts, or i fucked them up in transplanting. (i'm better at it now.) these could be my mother clones.
1 white widow, small, curled up, browned edges, barely any new growth. the other 9 died off with a couple weeks, one by one. WTF?
i have 10 other white widows sitting in a tray of mix, doing absolutely nothing in a week. yes, they're dark. yes, they're warm. WTF?
i'm thinking about sitting it in a big 2G pot in the sun, on the porch, let it grow like a weed.
10 k2 seeds, sitting in 6in pots, after sitting in wet paper a couple days, all about 2 inches down. NOT A ONE breaking in over a week. this is the second time nirvana has sent me dead seeds. WTF?
pots:
all these are sitting in 2gal pots, about 70:20:10 topsoil:gravel
erlite. a really nice mix. muds up a bit, but drains well.
nutrients:
using a 50:50 mix of miracle grow 10:50:20 and 20:20:20 for tomatos, in a 15L bottle of purified water. our tap water has high chlorine and sulphur, so...not good.
watering every one every third day.
so...
am i doing anything wrong?
lights are running 247. sometimes i let them sit outside on nice sunny days, but mostly sitting still, just leaving them be.
i want to clone the bubblicious into as many clones as a can, don't know how many i'll get, instead of new seeds.
if the blue mystics come out as nice as people say they will, i'll double those too, at least 50 plants in total by august 30.
