So close to harvest - first timer

Please see pic. In two days I'll be at 7 weeks flowering, and I assume around 8 I can harvest (never done this before) Everything has been fine so far, but past couple weeks have seen yellow tips dying and now spreading into leaves. I think I might have over fed them, but since I didn't just randomly throw nuts at them, I'm afraid it's something else. I haven't nutriented for over a week, and flushed as best I could (with fresh, non chlorinated water I had) I'm waiting on some more tap water in a 5 gallon bucket to flush a little harder this Friday.

Should I flush harder? I put about 2 clean gallons down (4 gallon pot) and it came out pretty brownish (soil - miracle grow - self nutrient for 3 months bs i don't really like)

Sorry I'm no expert like some on this site. But to get it out of the way. You said youve been flowering for 7 weeks? and are going to harvest the next? Well i know that plants take nutes (and chloriphil??) out of the leaves and use them for the buds when they are close to harvest or done flowering. So let me be the first to say the leaves might be dying because the plant is at the end of its life cycle. Its taking everything it has and putting it into the buds. It wouldnt surprise me that at right before harvest all of your leaves turn yellow or start drooping dramatically. Just how it goes...

Buttt like I said. Im NO expert soo see if any of the experienced growers no EXACTLY what it is before you just dismiss the problem.

True your leaves begin to yellow up and fall off at around 7 weeks flower, but his are looking really green still..

i am also not and expert grower, but i believe blinkfan is 100% right. Thats what commonly happens to plants during flowering... most of the time you see it at the bottom of the plant first. your bud looks beautiful... don't worry the only problem you have to worry about right now is mold and to me it looks like you had an extremely good grow! congrats!

Great! Thanks guys. I had no idea that's the lifecycle. I'm only assuming i'm close since the seeds normally are 7-9 weeks flowering. I've looked at the trichs and haven't found any ambers yet, just cloudy ones, so again, guessing, I think I'm close<shrug>
