yeah sounds like it is never done it since i live where it does not snow it would be the same as using rain water. if you want you could test the ph and and what not

test your ph of the water and make sure it is room temp before using.

I've used it myself to feed plants last year when we had tonnes of the stuff. When it warmed up had much the same pH and ppm as rain water - its a lot more effort involved than turning a tap on though!

sometimes a bit alkaline......but, yes. use it daily right now.
