Snake/Spider control...

Title says it all, anyway to prevent snakes/spiders from getting into my grow room?

They seem to love to sit under the grow light and bask in its warmth...

So far I have seen 2 different snakes, plus one left me his skin the other day.

The grow room is located inside my basement (its more like a toolshed/basement). Anything you can buy and place around the outside to prevent these suckers from coming in? I'm not even sure how they are getting into the actual grow room, as its inside another closed/locked room inside the basement (which is closed and locked)

One of these days, I'm going to walk into a copperhead, I just know it!

The spiders I see in the room are FRICKING HUGE too, they are bigger then a silver dollar, big burly hairly things, they freak me out almost more then the snakes!!!

Ahhh, the advantages of living out in the sticks =)

spiders are good bugs keep them in there, they eat all the bad bugs like white flies, aphids and other pests which can wreck havoc on a grow room or outdoor plants. snakes on the other hand are a nuisance i had to fight off several rattle snakes last month to get my outdoor area ready. i don't kill the non poisonous ones tho. anyway the spiders are good to have in your grow area my advice is not to kill them but to encourage them, they are sorta like nature's pest control. just my 2cents. gl with your grow!
