Smooth flavoursome strain recommendations?

Hi all,

Just wondered what strains you recommend for the most pleasurable smoking taste and smoothness. I remember having a strain a while back in a blunt that had a silky smooth almost cream/milky like taste and it was one of the nicest smokes i remember having but i have no idea what the strain was though! I've since had other good strains that taste great and leave a pleasant after taste but none had the texture of smoke like this other strain. what are your choices of strains to smoke for the best taste? I would be interested to hear peoples opinion.
 
Sounds like an interesting smoke! Don't know if I could steer you in the right direction because I don't smoke blunts anymore and that makes a big difference in how the smoke feels. I hope someone else knows where to find this silky smooth strain :P.
 
My favorite taste, that is also a smooth smoke would be Blueberry….i'm not sure what breeder's blueberry i've tried though, the few times that i had it.

One tasted like straight Blueberry….another which was a Blueberry Haze tasted like Blueberry Muffins….and I had one that was a cross of Sweetooth & Blueberry, that tasted like very sweet, sugar coated blueberries…

those are my 3 experiences with Blueberry, all 3 were smooth smokes, no harshness at all, with amazing tastes & equally awesome highs.

another strain I enjoy for taste/smootheness, but isn't the most potent stuff is Juicy Fruit (apparently has been renamed Fruity Juice due to copywrite issues though) but I haven't seen that strain in a VERY long time.

Purple Kush was also very smooth & had a strong purple/grape flavor to it.

Whatever you do do not purchase DJ Shorts Blueberry, his son has made accusations of false beans floating around and won't disclose which seedbanks actually carry his dads stuff. I wouldn't mess around with it as a lot of people have had bad experiences. Look for a better one for sure!
 
Ice Cream from Paradise. Creamy milky smooth taste you describe. Its one of my all time favs. I would only grow it if you have experience. Its a very tempermental strain in general, but particularly with ph.
If any part of your grow isnt dialed in Ice Cream will let you know. In the description they call it a Ferrari and I can vouch for that.
 
I grew Ice Cream couple of yrs ago,it was great tasting (the keeper) so smooth with a piney backnote on the exhale.unfortunately i got pm and lost her.Lemon skunk from DNA,or GH was one of my fav's as well.
 
If it's just for taste, any GSC dominant cross I would say. It's amazing that you were able to tell that much about the smoke in a blunt lol. Most forums have a standard smoke report form and almost ALWAYS ask the OP to use a clean glass piece. are you sure you weren't tasting the blunt? Lol

Yeah I am sure it wasn't just the taste of a blunt because I also had a plain joint later wrapped in a standard Blue king size rizla and that also tasted awesome. It wasn't harsh in the slightest. just silky smooth, almost milk like smoke. it was awesome but I have never since found a strain to match it even closely. and this was about 2 years ago now :( and thanks for all of the suggestions anyway guys. I will look into the ice cream, sounds like a good strain though I don't know if I would have the experience to grow it. but cheers anyway. keep the suggestions coming people. its nice to hear the strains everyone enjoys. can make it a bucket list to go out and smoke them lol
