Ok so I was just curious is there any side effects, good or bad, that come from smokin bud around bud plants? just curious dont wanna go smokin a blunt around plants when they start comin up if it aint good for them. but in the other hand if it dont matter i will just smoke a fatty wile messin with them

Well smoke might lower oxygen levels..and oxygen is important..but im no scientist. Just my opinion. If it doesn't happen in nature...I don't do it around my plants.

Pot produces thc as a defense, so i wouldn't try and use it against itself haha. i've heard from a lot of people that its very bad to smoke around your plants. Wouldn't recommend it.

its good for me and i dont care what the dr. ppl have to say about it. i perfer it over clean air

don't worry about it these people don't know what they are talking about. You are not gonna be smoking enough to deprive your grow room of oxygen.....Clearly the people answering these questions are noobs as well. Don't listen to the above posts, enjoy the fruits of your labor while checking on the new generation.

Who the fuck are you calling me a "noob"? Don't be an asshole.

P.S. :

Plants can be affected in both a positive and negative manner by smoke.

Smoke, produced by combustion of some material, means that there is increased carbon dioxide over a limited area. This is good for the plants and can increase their growth if there is sufficient light.

The smoke particles that we see, however, are particulate pollution which can coat the leaf surface, reducing photosynthesis. These particulates can also clog stomatal pores, reducing gas exchange in the leaf. These effects are bad for plants. Cigarette smoke, and some other smokes, also contain tar which can clog stomatal pores.

Particulate pollution in smoke can be harmful to humans as well. Plants can be used to cleanse the air. As we all learn in school, plants need carbon dioxide (which we exhale when we breath) and produce oxygen (which we need). That's good. Plants can also cleanse particulate and chemical pollutants from the air, protecting our health. Plants with fuzzy leaves are most efficient at cleansing particulates from the air.

Suck a dick.

As for you mate..form you're own opinion on the info I just posted. And before anyone calls my "info" bullshit...I pulled it from the New Mexico State University website. Directlink: http://cahe.nmsu.edu/ces/yard/2001/020301.html

what he said about covering everything with a film... thats the biggest problem i see. you know, if you smoke in your car your windshield gets a film on it... you dont want that on your plants..

not trying to force an issue.. but never said it would lead to death or anything.. i just think your better off with out it...

thats kinda wierd though, isn't it like showing your plants cannibalism? hahah

:weed::shock:

ok so since we breath out what the plants breath in and they exhale what we inhale then how about if there were plants in an exersize room. then there are ppl there workin out and breathin hard and usin up alot of oxygen and giving the plants lots of carbon dioxide. would that make them grow bigger and better?
