Smoking the leaves

I'm growing Northern Lights. I have 2 females and 2 males (males are in a seperate room). Since I'm out of smoke at the moment, I snipped off some of the male leaves, rolled 'em up and smoked. Pretty good little buzz!!

Northern Lights must be a kick ass strain for the leaves to get me high. I can only imagine when I smoke the buds how it's going to be.

u should use the leaves for hash

Oi mate... You must be new to smoking weed Because i dont know how the fuck you got high from that? ofcourse you get higher from budz dont be a fucking idiot.... make hash with those leafs mate... fucking rubbish

My friend has been smoking weed since I remember and I gave him some of my leaves before and he said he got a 10 minute high. Some people may have a higher or lower tolerance no matter how long they have smoked.

well yeah mate a 10 minute high... why smoke them when you can make some hash for a 2 hour high?

it shouldnt be a ten minute high at all ,that must have been the strain just wasnt that good maybe? We've all smoked male plants before, atleast if your over 20 years old. Dont you remember buying oz's of mexican that had seeds in it? Commercail growers grew both the males and females and cured em together, all weed had seeds back than, until sense hit the streets.

Oi, you got more then one point there lad, its true... even in the last year ive got weed with seeds in it, it is rubbish sometimes bairly getting me high, thats why ive decided to grow my own Personal smoke, and ill sell some for profit

When your out of weed, you'll smoke some leaves believe me. It wasn't a kick-ass high, but it got me off for about an hour!

ye iv smoked leaves before. Sometimes it just gets to that point. I reckon there is to much CBD in the leaves and i end up with a killer head ache. Thats just me.

Actually it has been reported that those small leaves right next to the bud sites, actually have more thc in them then the buds do.

i have heard that. I was more so talking about pre-flowering plants and fan leaves.

I have expirenced smoking leaves from female plants before basically out of curiosity when younger.Smoked some sugar leaves and got a pretty good buz for about hour.Tasted bad though and there is the come down head ache and sore throat.Now older and wiser I save those nice female cutting and make me some nice bubble bag hash...mmmmm sticky hashhh

Hows he supposed to make hash from male leaves with no trichromes on them? Do you actually know what hash is made out of you fucking dickhead?

He got high from it because all marijuana plants contain quantities of Cannabinoids in their leaves and stems, male or female although all you'll get is a buzz and not real 'stone' due to the very small quantities of cannabinoids and absence of THC, which is mainly only found in the 'glandular stalked trichromes'.

Oh yeah,I smoke leaf all the time and have for 40 plus years. I don't know how many people I've unknowingly got ripped on leaf from the upper third of male plants over the years then revealed what they'd been smoking after they were raving about how high they were. Some of 'em will claim they're really not that high then,but those narrow red red eyes and couchlock they're suffering from tell a different story.

Just about every serious outdoor grower I've ever known smokes leaf now and then from mid-summer until the buds come in. A lot of folks grow a small leaf patch that they cut about the middle of July to hold them over until harvest. My leaf is 2-6 hits and quit at the end of the season,depending on what part of the plant it's from. Bud leaf goes about a hit and half and smacks you like a board to the back of the head.

Leaf is well worth smoking,anyone who tells you different is full of shit. The high is little shorter,about an hour and a half,but midsummer when it's fresh picked on a bright hot day,it will give you one of the trippier pure THC highs you'll ever come across.

Maybe you Euro-growers don't have intense enough sunlight for leaf to produce decent levels of THC?

The idea that leaf won't get you high is a myth that's popped up over the past 20-25 years. Anyone who was smoking before,say 1985,knows damned well leaf can get you ripped. I can't believe the ignorance that gets spread as gospel about weed these days.

Males will not get you high.
Hermies have no THC.
Seeded buds don't get you high.
If your buds get seed, throw it away / no good.

Any weed is better than no weed.
Remember 4 finger bags at $15.00. Loaded with seed / stalk / leaves. sometimes you'd be hard pressed to find anything resembling a bud in a bag. Back then we were glad to find it at times. And yes, it did the job just fine.

Don't know about Ice / bubble bag hash w/ leaves. But it works well in (old style) tinctures.
Fan leafs no matter what is still better than a pack of butts at the store rate (more fun too).

i smoked my hermies leaves ....bad idea.
got a small buzz for abot 15 min then the headache came. oh well, dont knock it til you try it
