Smoking homegrown bud for the first time

It's a nice feeling; isn't it?
Haven't had my own to smoke for years. Now that I'm solo ... I'm doing something about that. cn

You are now officially spoiled. It's a great feeling aint it? Growing your own bud is immensely rewarding.

What strain was it? Was the bud mature or picked early?

My 3rd grow I grew a Bubba Kush and Shinning Silver Haze...Both free seeds from the 'tude...and they were, without a doubt, the best marijuana I have ever seen, smoked, smelled or touched. And I grew it:-D A great feeling.

Nirvana feminized WW. Picked somewhere between 8 and 9 weeks flowering. Maybe 5-10% amber trichromes. I may harvest this weekend.
 
I'll get pics in a day or so. I only sampled a little bit of bud that got burnt from being too close to the HPS. I'm starting flushing now, so I plan on harvesting just before thanksgiving.
 
I just harvested recently. And it's GREAT too. I've never seen shinier bud :)

I don't know if it's just because it loses trichs in transport everywhere else, but it's NICE AS SHIT :) And I harvested early :)

And dank as shit :) Better than SOOO much other bud I've had :)
 
I'm a few weeks off of harvest yet, but I practically drool when I go check my girls and see the frosting. I can't imagine how awesome it's gonna be to smoke my own.

I"ve harvested early plenty of times and the it was always dank. Although still not as good as it could be....like comparing a glock and an ICBM?
 
the only thing to blagg you now, is watching that fat coke can size bud, shrink down to a fuckin shrivveld up , sun soaked raisen .

yea you get used to that though...and different strains shrink less.. but, yes... watching a massive bud shrink can be a bummer ;) just weigh it fresh and wet and subtract at least 60% maybe even 75% and that is what you can expect to have... hurts to see it shrink less if you know where it will stop ;)
