All growers should be aware of the minute spores that occur in tobacco —these spores are called tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). They are in cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco.
For the above reason, pipe smokers and people who roll their own cigarettes should not be allowed to touch anything in the grow area. Keep in mind that all smokers represent a hazard to a marijuana cultivation centre

Having said this I have smoked and 70% of the people I know who grow smoke in the house their garden is in.

Well they told me I would get lung cancer too and that didnt stop me. This probably wont stop me either. lol. What exactly does this TMV do to the plants?

the tmv virus is it like a rusty colour? on one of my plants i have two leaves that have a rusty color, i do smoke in my grow room.
