Smoke filter

Does Carbon filter can filter out some smoke???? ... i whant to make a little box with 1 pc fan which sucks air into the box and a carbon filter where air comes out.... the idea is that i could smoke in my room and there would be no smoke and aroma around... is that possible??? :wall: :bigjoint:

i used to smoke in my room.. cant use a j or a blunt, only really good with a bowl... get yourself a paper towel roll or a tp roll, empty of course... stuff empty roll with bounce fabric softner or whatever brand you like to use... fill roll losely with fabric softner... take your hit and blow it out through the tp roll with fabric softner.. smoke comes out smelling bounty fresh... works great for dorm rooms and the like.. still see the smoke, but really doesn't have a weed scent to it anylonger.. the reason why bowls work best is because you get most of the smoke from a bowl when you get the hit and they usually don't put off too much smoke when not being hit, unlike a j or a blunt or anything of that order.. i would imagine that you could also use it for a bong as well.
best of luck to a smelless smoke..

thanks for info but i`m planning to make badass filter with carbon... carbon filters the odor not just
inhibits the weed scent ;) .... i could add some air freshener into the filter too ;) most of all i need the smoke gone :)

Yes it is possible. Given than any smoke that does not enter the filter will smell the room up a little but a active filter that you blow the smoke into and keep smoking items near the intake will make a difference.
Electronic supply companies sell filtered soldering stations. All it is is a fan pulling through a carbon filter to remove the lead and smoke from soldering. I have seen them for under 30 bucks, but a PC fan, a box, and some charcoal will probably do the trick cheaper, as long as you see it pulls smoke into the intake.

Hell, I have even seen cigarette ashtrays that have filters built into them.
