smells like hay?

I have this beutiful skunk plant that i had hanging for 5 days and...it was fairly dry and fairly wet. I decided to throw in paperbags to dry it out a little more and the next morning when i went to check on it, it smelled like fucking hay. Why the hell did it loose its smell and what could i do to get it back, cuz it was the skunkiest bud ever. Now its smell makes me not want to smoke. Plz help

Maybe the outside of the buds are putting off the dried out smell and you just need to cure it. Curing will draw out the moisture from the inside of the buds and will replenish the outside giving them back their skunky aroma.

Throw it in some jars to cure (when it's dry).....you'll get the smell back.

not quite - you want a little bit of moisture to redistribute in the jars.. a good sign is when - in about a week - take out a stem and see if it bends or snaps - when they snap it is indeed ready.. that's from what i've been reading - but let's see if someone has a better way...

thanks alot "ford". Yah id like to here from other people too, cuz of right now i just want to throw that shit away. the hay smell is horrible in my eyes!!

hahah wtf, yah "eyes" was the choice of words, im not sure why and how i said EYES. But yes the smoke tastes horrible and it smells horrible
