Smell

I am living in an apt. and was wondering if it would be stupid to try and grow about 4-6 plants in an aeroponics system lit by a 400w HPS in my closet. Will a carbon filter and possibly some kind of fragrance spray in the living/dining room be enough? Pretend I would be growing some fairly stinky dank. Comments appreciated.

apt. you might want to think about electricity too, gotta remember 400w just for the lights, what about the water pump/air stone/fans/exhaust/watever else?

If it's an old apartment then no don't do it...grow with soil...if new be sure it can handle what you wanna do...most new buildings are built to proper standards for power. I lived in an older apartment, and i used a 400W hps in a closet and it did just fine.

Smell...depends on the strain, i've had to use carbon filters and such growing just 3 plants, then i've had some that i could grow 10 and all i'd smell is a faint skunky smell. It was alot better when i could keep my bedroom window open all day and night...smell factor went right down..and you couldn't smell it outside.

Ya but I've heard that electricity bills and thermal imaging arent enough evidence to constitute a search warrant. I know I really have no choice in an apt but what about a house?
