Yeah this would be a really stealthy dorm grow, as long as your room mates dont get thirsty... ha. i just put a makeshift lock on the side just in case my friends get nosey. no i haven't solved my vent issue, i have two small pc fans (intake,exhaust) but i dont have the proper power supplies for them and i need to cut through the back of the fridge, which is metal.

Ah, that's a potential set-back. LOL

Maybe you could get a hole-cutter drill bit (2"-2.5") for a power drill... Something big enough to feed an extension cord or some sort of power supply through the back. Other than that I don't have any ideas on how to get the power supply to the inside without somehow using the refrigerator's.

Hope you figure something out. I really like the idea of growing in a mini-fridge... :bigjoint:

actually i had an opiphany. ok so i used my own wire for all of the connections, and i just drilled a hole in the side and mounted a small ps fan blowing air out of the box, it is towards the top near the lights, i ran all of the wires through a small 1/4 inch hole that i drilled. power solved!!! and i figured out how i could cool it without huge fans (i have 2 40w lights) i actually found out a way to fix the fridge so that is could actually run and cool the inside off, it isn't like new but can lower the inside a good 20-30 degrees!!!!

yup they sell these and the little bigger minifridge grow units.I love the DIY guys so this is better but doesnt hurt to go get ideas from other models when stuck for ideasd lol good job using your brain
