Small square pots instead of net pots...

I was curious if I could start my plants in these http://htgsupply.com/Product-Kord-Square-Pot---4in-Kordlok-10-Pack.asp .
Just small 4x4x4 pots with 4 holes, I would then fill with perlite / rockwool cube with germinated seed just sprouting and then top with perlite and a cover... My reasoning for doing this is because at this very moment I don't have the space or budget to get 8 buckets/all that.. I want to take 2 black buckets+lid I already have and cut the holes myself, and then place those in there allowing the pot to fill up with roots/perlite for 2/3 weeks. I already have 2 spare air pumps/lines (no stones)... I want to place 4 of these in each bucket so I can essentially have 8 plants about to show sex but not have to worry about roots/tangling etc. When they are showing sex Ill be able to buy 8 more buckets/6'net pot lids and run them indiviually, I'll also have ample space by then since my soil grow is about 2 weeks from harvest. I know this has been covered and I've read the answer before but I can't remember what it is and I've been searching for an hour now...closest thing I could find was "look ma no netpots". I'm pretty sure in theory this would work but I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this and had problems or maybe I'm overlooking something that could be fatal. Thanks in advance.
