small plants

My plants are really small, they are about 3 weeks old. They are dimmed under a lumetek 465w led at 25% and are receiving around 130/140 ppfd. When should I turn it up to 50%? And how come stuff is growing on top of my coco? is it a salt build up? 65% Humdity, around 23 and 25c. The E.C is 0.9
 
I turned it up to 50% and backed off the light a little bit and now it's reading 200ppfd, so it's an increase of 60ppfd.
 
I've never used a ppfd meter or calculation so the numbers I really couldn't tell you anything about but I put my plants in my veg tent with a 400w led at 100% between weeks 2&3. That's just what seems to work for me.
Kinda hard to see, but they're in the middle

Thanks for the help bro, I guess they have been growing slow due to the light being dimmed to 25%

I've had it in past grows and I just move the top of the coco around and it vanishes dude, it's not there at the minute because I have moved the top soil around. I'm pretty certain it's salt build up due to the canna nutrients
 
Everyone finds their way. I (almost) never discount someone method of growing. If it's working, it's working. Nothing wrong with taking it slow. Now is also when I'd start with the nutes, if you haven't already.

Yeah I think I'm going to switch from the baby food and switch to canna A&B now bro :)
 
The ppfd has gone from 140ppfd to 240ppfd and is now dimmed to 50%. Is that fine? I have also upped the ventilation on the carbon filter from 30% to about 50% to get better air flow.

Just take it low and slow, i turn the light up as much as i can each day, as long as no ill effects seen can go up another 20ppfd tomorrow or more, however you want to do it.

If turning it up fast, i like to check back 4 ish hours later to make sure they arent visibly drooping or looking worse.
