someone told me that if i wanted a short plant i would have to stop veg and start flowering around 12 in to get a plant around 30 in.. is that true? how else could i keep my plant short but healthy

i veg mine till 8" and get 24" , keep your lights close

try topping your plant. it will help it to bush out.

i do that on half, if get too tall, just pull them over with fishing string, they bend upwards and keep growing

Yeah I've had to bend and tie some stems down before when I was flowering in 5gal pots.

Truth is, Ive had different strains react different to topping. On real fast growers, sometimes the the two main stems that grow will still grow pretty tall, but for the most point I would end up with some nice bushes.

im getting to be a bag seed pro, its fun, i just have to keep my height down, i use MG so no veg nutes, just AN bloom

Vegging at 12 to go to 30 sounds about right.

whats AN bloom? and you use that during flowering?
