Small plane With "patrol" on it

so a small plane just flew really really low over my house with the word patrol on the side. any ideas?
 
If i had to quess id say there is a plane patroling your area. What else do you want someone to say??? "Its ok dude its prob nothing" If you are running your lights durring the day when your roof is hot you have no worries. The only thing you should be concerened about is where you are dumping your hot air.
 
no i have an outside grow, and it flew over it really slow and low, and this never happens in my area
 
Dont let it see you in the middle of the woods then. When you go out do you bring something to cover your story, fishing pole or bird watching book, ya know something that makes you look like a normal guy on a nature walk. Not a watering can and you growers bible, lol

in michigan we are constantly scouting deer, if they find your plants, they find 'em. what ya gonna do?

This actually happened to me a couple of months ago. I almost freaked out but I kept my cool and didn't overreact. Was this a topwing, Cessna style aircraft?
 
if their not on your property then dont bug, even if the rip ur stash at least u didnt get cought, keep watching for them, and listen for them when u visit the girls,
 
If you live close to highways there's a good chance it was just highway patrol out getting some speeders. We have them here all the time and that's all they're doing. Can never be too cautious though.
 
They have to actually see you cultivating the plants. Just because your standing there looking at them doesnt mean you are cultivating them.

If they want to fuck you they will! What do you think they will be kind enough to lube it up for you. Nope! You would get fucked weather you like it or not.
 
I dismissed it pretty quickly after I saw it but after seeing this thread I'm starting to wonder if there might be something to it. The one I saw was a small single engine over-wing, Cessna style of aircraft. It said PATROL in big bold letters on the underside of one of the wings. That was it. It didn't say STATE PATROL or anything else, just PATROL. Has anyone else seen one of these?:confused:
 
I see it one of two ways....

1) You have nothing to fear but fear itself

2) You and your home might become part of your local 5 P.M. TV News

More likely #1 then #2....
 
Yeah, I mean unless you are doing a large grow op, they might not really give a damn since it won't make them their dirty money. But even a small one plant grow can get busted as well if you don't take the proper precautions, such as not telling anyone.
 
I have talked to a Sergeant in the US Army about grow ops before. He used to fly in Coast Guard planes up and down California looking for large plots a few years back. He said that anything under 20 plants wasn't worth recording, and that rarely did they deal with anything under 100 plants.
