Small Led Grow (4 bag seed)

Hello fellow growers!
This is my first led grow. I used to grow with hps! But due to heat and bills i switched.

Germinated four bag seeds because i have problems with seed ordering (my dad was getting suspicious).
Germinated in a cup of water popped in a day. Put in small jiffy pots. Upper transplanted with jiffy and lower without them so i can test out because i have never used jiffy before.
Seedlings now four full days old from ground popping.

Left in 5mm water in a deeper plate so i had problems with root overwatering because jiffy soaked water in so i had to cut one yellow cotyledon.

Hand removed shells and membrane to make it easier for seedlings then transplanted in 15L grow bags which i cut to have better view over seedlings because i filled them up with 10L of dutch straw humus mix and set to 18/6.

Using a led light pulling 140 from the wall in a card board box 120x80x80 all covered inside with diamond mylar and cut upper hole for 15w fan blowing out hot air and lower fanless for fresh air.
Night temperature is 24 celsius and day is 26. Humidity 50% lights and on 62% lights off.

Watering with tap water which is just fine for them as i see because first sharp leaves are green and healthy on all four seedlings.
I tend not to overwater and let the soil dry almost completely.

Im measuring ppfd in every spot so i can be sure they are getting light evenly. Now its about 250 ppfd or more for each.
Because these are regular;bag seeds i believe i will get 2 or maybe 3 females.

Never hand remove the shells. The plants dont need your help, rheir fragile at that stage .

Also are you growing in your dads house and he doesnt know ?

Also you going to want to buy like 3 more of those for flower for that space if you want more than an ounce off those 4 plants combined.

Yes. Both parents dont know and dont actually care as i see.

As i dont know about sexes ratio yet, i will keep growing and we will see on 12/12 so then i will see how should i place them but i will make sure i concentrate them to grow very low and to the middle.

And about light. It has 0.0292 conversion factor (lux->par) which is amazing as i received seller test and divided par with lux he recorded so i use lux meter and know what to do. And diamond foil is doing amazing job. I want
1. Quality
2. Ultra low bills (which are 4 dollars per month now with light and a fan)


I will need help about nutes as i want them to be organic and i think i should go for biobizz and nirvana from AN. Also i will upgrade the upper hole by extending it with a small box and put active carbon in it so fan can blow over it. I will buy ona gel too and place it outside the box. As i am on a budget i need to get very thinky.

I was wondering if active carbon particles can go against a blowing fan and reach my plants inside? as i dont have a clue how powerful it really is.

Your going to get caught your best bet is to be honest so its not all for nothing when they rip it down

So untrue. If the first set of leaves are coming out and green cotelydons, shelling is a great idea.

You should probably ditch the cardboard box and build a simple frame with 2x2 and panda film.
It will go soft and lose its rigidity with the humidity and could collapse, best case your plants get squished, worse case it causes a fire.

Hopefully you at least live in a legal state if not your risking getting you parents in trouble or worse. That soil has little drainage. That light won’t do so hot flowering. How are you going to control smell?
All in all it sounds as though you might want to get some stuff together, get a job and move the hell out on your own.

Soil is airy and spongy because i let it dry 99% before i water.
I know this led light will not fill up 80x80cm but i dont expect ultra yield.
I will make and mount an outbox and put a home made carbon filter inside for a fan to blow trough it and add an ona gel outside the box.
As for the family and all just dont worry. This is my only choice for now.
It is way better to be at home than in a rented place where owners could bust in with their extra key.
And please can anyone move this thread to grow journals ?

There is a pic of my led light up close and its spectrum wavelenght too send by manufacturer personally.

Color nm Qty.Leds
Red 630nm&660nm 65 Leds
Blue 460nm 17 Leds
Orange 610nm 4 Leds
White 14000K 12 Leds (looks yellowish to me but they claim its purpleish with that white color)
IR 730nm 1 Leds
UV 410nm 1 Leds

The smaller one with weird first pair of leaves is kicking up those second pair of leaves already along with the bigger one!
What a suprise :) And she was planted in the same soil but her bag of soil has more worm smell to it and it is heavier with bigger parts. I believe they didnt finish the product process for that one.
Its day 5 now and i am pleased.

Disregard the PPF aspect ...
Blurple are hella weak all the way around .... SO .. bring panel to 24” from seedlings .
DONT EVER cut off the cotyledon leaves ....
Regardless of the emerging color ... their function is to provide the beginning nutrition to the emerging sprout.

Piece of advice ....

Run the seedlings at 24/0 .
You will be able to supplement more ENERGY time to these seedlings , where you lack on PAR exposure. Meaning you need at a MINIMUM 600 u/mol for good fast growth. Anything less running a REGULAR CYCLE (18/6 example ) won’t give you the growth you need compared to how long it’s been growing .... this why growers running blurple on regular schedules like better light are doing will find less of a plant compared to same conditions.... so you bump up the EXPOSURE TIME.

BEEN ON THE BLURPLE TRAIN AWHILE BACK .....
These tips are what I tried in my grows. Blurple have horrible penetration and footprint, the fringe areas fall off a cliff in usable light that , power is always half of advertised , diodes WILL FAIL rapidly , IR diodes are the first to go .

BUT ....... You can get some decent bud with some tweaking .... supplementing light , lighter feeds , etc.

Its just a usual soil from the store.
Blurple is 17 inch away from seedlings.
I see your point about 24/0 but is 4 more hours of light that important?
Cobs are a pretty much a dead end if they go out and i dont have a replacement thats why its kinda risky unless i have parts.
And these separated chips dont die all at once like cob. Next time i will buy more of these lights if they prove out to be good at the end. But nobody complained so thats why i bought it for my first led light. I checked on wattometer and it is 140 from the wall as seller told me.

There are plenty of cool lights on aliexpress and yet they are unexplored.
This one looks great but id need cob replacement along with the light.

After all i choose light for my personal needs When i get more cash i will sure find ways to make it better.

What about flood lights anyone?

I doubt your filter is going to hide enough that they wont find out.
You going to wait a long time for a few grams of weed. Its an expensive, illegle, dangerous hobby ya got goin there.

Dont stress! Everything will be fine.
Yes its highly illegal yet i smoke the clouds out of my window for a long time and nobody gives a damn.
I can do whatever i want im in a free land.
I am not here to listen to people panic attacks but to share my grow with someone who wants to look and maybe give some advice.
I wont be using flood lights i just ask calm down please.
For the ones who dont want to be helpful they dont have to.
