Wuddup,

So my plants are almost 3 weeks old from seed. theyre coming along nicely, dont get me wrong, but it just seems like theyre growing out alot of smalllllll smallllll asss leaves, and theyre not branching out. Everything just looks kinda bunched up. This didnt really happen in my last grow, so im wonderin if this is a sign of a deficiency of sorts. Two of my Blue Cheese plants are thrivin man - got nice long branches, and have stretched a bit cuz i pulled the light a little farther away from the plants to let them stretch, but like i said, those are the only two that responded. I also have 2 Northern Soul growin, a White Berry, 2 Twilight, and 1 other BlueCheese that i just planted to replace one that died off because i transplanted into dro from soil, and she got a bad case of root rot.

so 3Bluecheese, 2Twiglight, 2 NorthernSoul, n a Whiteberry is what i got total, n the only plants that are branching per what im used to, are the Blue Cheese Plants. Any ideas??

i actually read somewhere that when plants are deficient in ummmm - i think its Mg (or was it toxic) , that the leaves go completely DARK DARK green, and develop small leaf syndrome, where all the small leaves stay underdeveloped, and they dont branch out like a typical plant would. Im not doing anything about it because 80% of me says its normal too, but i like to know for sure whats goin on with my shit, u feel me?? i like knowin what theyre goin through, so i can get the feel for what they like while theyre developing. ill be giving them all their first real shot of nutrients this weekend, so i wanna make sure that nothing in toxic in the soil before i do.

Im using FF Ocean forest in 3 gallon bags, with a Tablespoon of Dolemite Lime for every gallon of soil, to stabalize the Ph, and its stabalized at 6.9. Im doing an NpK right now to see whats what, and ill know in ten minutes or so if anything is deficient. Well see i spose, lol.

Dark green leaves are a sign of too much nitrogen. It's nothing to worry about if you know what's up. You gotta try to balance it with bright green/yellow new growth and try not to burn any leaves. But like I've been pushing my girls so hard and they're dark green well into flower with some burnt tips. But I walk the line and they produce.

Small leaves are genetic. I got a plant that has small leaves even in hydro, and I've had plants with leaves as big as my head in soil.... just the way the genetic ball bounces, you dig?

Mine are a good green not to dark not to light, but its been 2 months and i dont see hardly any branches, is it just to soon or will it branch out more when i flower?

Small leaves could be a good thing.. Plants will make bigger leaves if they feel the need. Could be strain... what PPMs you feeding them? Like ringsixty said.. Pics man. Post pics!
