i have a small 6 plant hydro planter and i have a single air stone for it its 2Inches and a normal 5 gallon fish tank air pump. will that be enough air?

No more than 2-3 gallons

That's pretty small so a small pump and stone should do you fine. But if you add another one, you'll be even better.

This might sound like a noob question but how will the roots get water if there still in seedling phase so it fits in the netted pot but no roots hang down yet?

water level must reach the bottom of your netpot barely touching, if they seem dry, you can help them with raisin then lowering water level often to keep rocks moist like a flood and drain until roots hit the water. oh and I think that you need significantly more air, it's not the same requirements like fish, you need at least 1 airstone for 2 plants IMO and if plants will grow big, you would need 1 fore each

If double bubble is better, than double bubble squared is scarey

My DIY Quasi Bubble System couldn't be much simpler. No holes to drill, no fittings to attach. It consists of a ~ 16" X 7" deep cleaning bucket + 45L/hour air pump + 4 large Oxystones laying on their sides, and covered by one of the green grates (bottom of lager AP) that you can see under the pump (bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble..... 24/7).

Nute level maintained roughly 3" above the bottom of the Air Pot, which is filled with lava rock. The clone is in a smaller AP inside the larger. This totally takes the stress out of 'transplanting. Also I replaced Dutch Master Gold nutes 2 weeks ago with Hydroponic-Research Veg + BLOOM. Can't speak for veg as I haven't tried it yet, but this clone has taken on a whole new life since changing to V & B 2 weeks ago

so could i use a humidifier as a water supply i want to put a modifier in a tub (with the cut outs for the netted potting) and put it inside will that work for the rooting system all the up to flowering?
