Slowing Down A Dominate Cola of a Topped Plant

I topped my plants using Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 4 colas. It worked very well, and I got 4 little colas growing on all my plants. The problem is on one or two plants there is a cola that's very obviously dominate. Probably 4-5 times larger than the other ones. I cut them 5 days ago. Is there any tips or tricks to slow down the dominate cola and let the others catch up?
 
UB suggest tieing down the large ones, or doing two harvests, getting the big ones first and then allowing the others to catch up.
 
Actually, yes there is. You can slightly bend the dominate stem over and tie it down or stake it down with a piece of copper wire with a hook bend in it.
 
just dont use something that would rust and leach heavy metals into your medium :)
