Slow growth?

I have 3 uberkush and 1 herijuana under a 150w hps about 18 inches away..at first the light was about 6 inches away i think it mightve burned them.the round leaves started turning yellow i know this is normal they will be 2 weeks old thursday and they are sprouting their second set of leaves now.Im wondering if i should start over?..I was running them with ph water I'm runnin hydro set up, I did put a small amount of nutes in the res this past saturday.The new growth is looking green though so i guess there is some hope.But i think the growth is a little slow, can it just be the type of light im using since its not that strong ..what do you think?Temps are in the low 70's humidity 40 to 50..running a fan with exhaust...

HPS can sometimes be too intense for seedlings, its best to start them off with CFL's. They should still be fine, cannabis is good at sorting itself out usually

Yeah it does look like you burnt them a lil, but they will be fine. Remember seedlings go through a little stage in their life right where yours are for about a week of slow gorwth then they take off like a rocket! If I were you give them a couple of weeks and make your decision then. I am sure you will be glad you did! GL brotha!

I was wondering that the 150 hps might not be the right light to get fast growth..cuz ive seen others with my same straigh with better lights get a whole lot more growth? so ill hold off for a bit before i start again....im just scared that they might turn hermie or just plain stunted growth you know...

is it a switchable balast? If so maybe go get a MH bulb and that will add more blue spectrum to your plants and they use that more for veg. Remember you are veging with a flowering bulb so that may be the case also. Not sure and I know I will get some flame responses from people that veg with HPS but just putting it out there.

no its not a switchable one,,,so them being 2 weeks old looking like that isnt too bad...i was already preppin another rockwool cube lol....im gonna give em some time then hopefully theyll recover..

Yeah they don't look to bad bro just give the little ladies some time to bounce back from the burn. If they don't come back soon rip them out and yeah just start over. If you want and have the beans toss a coin and let fate decide!
