In my area soil is fairly hard to get this time of year. I was wondering if anyone has heard of "Mark's choice" it seems to be the home hardware brand.
Product reads as follows:
Flower & Vegetable Soil Mix
- Ideal for all garden use ranging from flowers,
to vegetables to trees and shrubs
- A rich blend of peat humus, dark Canadian
sphagnum peat moss, compost, shrimp compost
and calcinated clay
- 30L
(I cant find anything else locally other than miracle grow and schultz).
Also , if I can sneak in a second question. I will be using a 3x3x6.5 ft mylar grow en-closer (72 cu ft) with a 400w HID lamp and reflector to make a run at growing 4 plants. I am looking at this Fan/Filter combo or this http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/carbon-cannon-filter-scrubber-and-cannon-fan-combo-p-288.html to vent the air out into my basement. Will one of these be sufficient to cool the box ? Anyone have experience with the two different filters? I need to make sure it isn't stinky in my whole house. I can vent out into the dryer line if I need to but would prefer not to do so.
