Cause the plant is growing still and producing flowers and bud and leaves etc, if you harvest to late your thc will be degraded as in amber tricomes, so its not always producing more thc under light. Its just that its full potential from the genetics can come out under great lighting conditions.
UV light, aka sunlight degrades THC. Keeping them in UV protected glass jars if lighting is an issue, but who keeps their stash out in the open in the sun? lol
A proper dry and Good cure is very important for quality of smoke, if you dry correct and cure properly, and leave out of UV light, the thc will stay fresh for a very long while.
After harvest or as soon as you chop anything down be it cannabis, strawberries, or lettuce, the item will degrade, thats why we put fruits in fridge's. all we can do as growers is maintain it the best from not degrading i.e. proper dry cure and storage

? since were discussing light degrades thc, wouldn't that also happen by keeping in clear jars, if not kept in darkness, dispensaries use clear jars out in the light does this matter, THX

According to science yes.
I don't think the dispensaries keep stock long enough for degrading to occur, yes it is always happening, but minute. And they are business, its more money for UV jars i assume, and people like to see the product from the shelf, see the buds and what not i guess.

Yeah, I'm a hop head myself.
Actually I've pretty interested in doing a cannabis brew. Hopps and Cannabis are closely related in fact hopps themselves can give yu a euphoric feeling. So I figure a batch of THC Brew would kick it p a notch. Although I'm thinking that it maybe better to just dilute some Bubble Hash into the fermentor while waiting for the yeast to do it's thing. Not sure what would happen though. I
ll probably start with a small 1 gal batch.

lol slightly more off topic but i am planning to go to america in the summer, where do you think i should go and what states allow recreational use of marijuana? cause iv been to holland 3 times and was wanting to mix my holidays up a bit and i always wanted to go to american.

Colorado, Washington and I think a couple of others. IDK don't really follow it, lol. Maybe I should.
It really depends on what you want to do when you are out here. California and New York are hot spots for travel. Pretty cool to party and sight see. Oh, nvm go to Miami. You'll have a blast. I go every year. Its exactly what you imagine, hahaha
